Back in July 2017, we shared with you how Teva Respiratory was involved with the NHS’ Sheffield City Region Test Bed: also known as the ‘PErfect Patient PAthway (PEPPA)’.

As part of PEPPA, we created the CareTRxTM programme, which aimed to understand how innovative technology in healthcare could benefit patients in the self-management of their asthma, whilst also providing the opportunity to test this technology in a real world environment.

Take a look at our previous article – Teva Respiratory partner with Sheffield City Region on Test Bed innovation programme (July 2017) – to find out more about CareTRxTM and what this Test Bed entailed.

On 22nd May 2018, the TAG event took place. This event was an opportunity to thank all those who had been actively involved in the Test Bed Programme and recognise all the different people and organisations who had collaborated with NHS England for these Test Bed initiatives.

Teva proudly took home three awards for our designing and implementation of the CareTRxTM Programme: Best Patient Story, the Best Information Materials Award, and a Patient Support Award for our CareTRxTM Nurses. Plus, we were delighted to receive a highly commended award in the Innovation Technology category too.

The Test Bed Advisory Group was made up of volunteers that have long-term health conditions or are the relative or carer of someone with such conditions. It is their votes and their opinions that decide who is put forward for the awards, which makes winning at the event even more humbling.

Here at Teva, we are proud to be part of the innovative technological developments occurring within healthcare today.
